Oh yes, I’m going to break my vacation down almost day by day. I hope you don’t get sick of hearing about it, because this place deserves some love. It was amazing… really.
To get to San Juan Island, you have to drive North of Seattle, almost all the way to Canada to a little place called Anacortes.
Anacortes was where we caught the ferry that would take us to San Juan Island. The ferry ride is about an hour long, but with scenery like that, who’s complaining? Maybe all of the people who ride it every day for work, but not me, or the other tourists.
The ferry dropped us off at Friday Harbor on San Juan Island. We grabbed some beer, took a few pictures, and we were off to the rental house.
