Guilty Pleasures

You know you have them.  Things that are not good for you if you overindulge.  Things that take time away from the things you should be doing instead.  Here are a few of mine:

I’m gonna go ahead and start this post out by giving you the impression that I am super healthy.  “What?”, you say, “Kombucha isn’t bad, in fact, it’s really frickin good for you.”  Yes, yes, if you said that, you would be correct.  It is only a guilty pleasure because I really shouldn’t be spending $2.79 on a drink.  But it’s soooo good.

Ok, fine.  That wasn’t guilty enough for you?  How about a rack of empty wine bottles that I drained all by my lonesome? No, it was not in one night.  I love wine, but yes, it has to be in moderation.

Here is something that is harder for me to do in moderation.  I love a good young adult novel.  I know, I know, I’m over 30, why do I read such nonsense?  Well, the answer is simple.  They are good stories, they help me turn my mind off at night so I can sleep, and I like them. So nany, nany, boo, boo.

There are not words to express how much I love these movies. And I’m not going to tell you how many times I’ve watched them.

And now for my ultimate guilty pleasure…. Cadbury Mini Eggs!  They are my favorite candy, but you can only get them at Easter.  Luckily, my husband loves me, and he bought me six bags of them so I can hoard them all year long.

What are your guilty pleasures?

Kombucha?! Yes! You would fit so well in Seattle it's crazy :) I have friends that even make their own. Again, I'm not that adventurous plus I hear it smells badly and I don't have enough scented candles to handle that mess.
